Workshop : snow games

The snow has finally arrived !

How many of us want to capture theses beautiful landscapes, to make macro-photography, to photography our toddlers ecstatic ?

But taking pictures in the presence of snow is a very special problem because of the overwhelming brightness of the environment. Very specific technical parameters need to be implemented, and few cameras in “fully automatic” will be able to restore the magic of the moment.

What do you wish ?

 Honoring the whiteness of the snow or on the contrary giving it a dramatical aspect ?

Playing with its colors and brilliance?

Pay tribute to the landscape and the joy it gives us?

Or as always, exploit its exceptional light for portraits?

I propose a small group out of 4 people to help you to reveal your photographic intent and make the most of this particular environment

Program :

9:30 am: appointment to me with a hot chocolate which will wait for you to prepare you to face the cold ! We shall take advantage of it to make a point and a reminder(abseiling) on the technical aspects of your cameras..

10.30: exit in the mountains

13h: Back. Everyone goes home and makes a first selection of photos

16 h – 18h: debriefing images, comments, suggestions

Remember to cover hot and wearing a ski suit!
